First-Year Applicants In addition to the general requirements for applying to Cornell University, the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning has specific requirements that must be fulfilled in order to apply. Please use the department links below to view their admissions requirements. Transfer Applicants Prospective transfer students should meet the secondary-school subject requirements listed for each department and must submit all transcripts of college-level work, as well as high school transcripts. Subject requirements can be met through high school course work or a combination of high school and college course work. One semester of college-level course work in a subject equals one unit. If standardized tests (SAT, ACT) were taken in high school, please submit them as part of the application. If those tests were not taken, they do not need to be taken now. Please use the department links below to view their requirements.
If you are interested in transferring, you can request a copy of Cornell’s Guide for Transfer Students, which includes specific details about transferring to the College of Architecture, Art and Planning.
