-Empyre-, the online list serve co-moderated by Renate Ferro, visiting assistant professor of art, has been selected for featured presentation as an online journal at Documenta 12, Kassel, Germany, from June 16 to September 23, 2007. -Empyre- is an international, moderated discussion of media arts and culture, hosted by the College of Fine Arts at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. The list serve focuses on critical perspectives on contemporary cross-disciplinary issues, practices, and events in networked media. Moderators organize monthly discussions with invited artists and critics on emergent themes crucial to media arts and culture.
