Undergraduate Program
Urban and Regional Studies (B.S.)
Develop the insights, knowledge, and technical skills to deal with the challenges of contemporary urban life. The urban and regional studies major features a core of interdisciplinary courses supplemented by liberal arts offered throughout the University.

Graduate Programs
Cornell's approach to city and regional planning, both domestically and internationally, combines theory and practice.  It emphasizes how social, political, and economic processes create the built environment. As a graduate student, you will study one of several areas, all of which allow you to design a master's degree or Ph.D. program that meets your individual interests and needs:
  • City and regional planning, with concentrations in economic and community development planning, land use and environmental planning, and international planning
  • Historic Preservation Planning
