This project was created for an introductory GIS course. I chose to focus on mass transit and demography in Atlanta, my hometown.
In order to make policy recommendations to developers, planners and policymakers in the Atlanta region, I analyzed MARTA rail stations where potential TODs may be constructed dependent upon a variety of independent factors, including demographics, land use, and tax assessment data. I created a variety of maps depicting the various MARTA rail stations and the parcels available for TOD while including tables describing demography and land use data.
