Valentina Mariani

Valentina Mariani started working as a teacher of Italian language to foreigners ten years ago. After completing her studies in Rome (a bachelor's degree in literature and a master's degree in Italian language and culture), she discovered a passion for teaching and obtained diplomas and certifications specifically for teaching Italian to foreigners (Ditals II, Dilit).

After several professional experiences abroad — in Australia, Holland, and England — she chose Rome, where she collaborated with several American schools and universities (Dartmouth, RISD, UCL, etc.)  teaching Italian language and culture courses, participating in coordinating programs, and writing syllabi.

She continues to enthusiastically pursue glottodidactic training and to update methodologies, approaches, and resources for language classroom management.
