Graham Foundation Announces 2025 Grants to Individuals
The Graham Foundation has awarded 42 new grants to individuals whose projects advance interdisciplinary ideas in architecture and design. Among the recipients are members of the AAP community: Nathan Friedman (B.Arch. '08), CRP faculty Thomas J. Campanella (M.L.A. '91), and Kevin Harrington (M.A. '75, Ph.D. HAUD '81).
Art Professor and Chair Paul Ramírez Jonas and alumna Nina Cooke John (B.Arch. '95) have been named finalists for a National Memorial Project honoring Congressman William H. Gray III in Philadelphia. They are among five artists invited to present full proposals to the Memorial Advisory Committee and community stakeholders on July 22, 2025.

AAP Studio Tech Wins First Prize — Made in NY 2025
AAP Studio Technician in Print Media, Painting, and Drawing Jackie Riccio won first prize at an annual exhibit at the Schweinfurth Art Center located in Auburn, NY, that features work by artists who live in New York State.
An expert jury unanimously selected Design Teaching Fellow in Architecture Manuel Bouzas Barcala for "academic excellence, international projection, commitment to education, the reflection his work offers on the transformative power of architecture, the design of public spaces, and his defense of ecology and sustainability."
